CODE OF CONDUCT FOR TEKOM-MEETUPS

We want all users to feel comfortable in tekom-Meetups. These rules of conduct are intended to ensure that.

Dos

Be open to all members of the meetups, no matter where they come from, and welcome newcomers to our circle.
Be tolerant of everyone, even if they have different professional opinions.
Be objective, friendly, and respectful to achieve constructive interaction
Address each other in a personal manner and contribute to a trusting interaction.

Don'ts

It is not permitted

to behave in an insulting, derogatory, discriminatory, sexist or aggressive manner towards others
to post or show racist, inciting, pornographic or other unethical content
to post or display content that violates the rights of third parties, in particular copyrights, trademarks, names, patents, utility models, design patents, images and privacy rights
to post or display content that promotes political parties, political opinions or any kind of ideologies
to post or display content that is subject to a legal or contractual obligation of secrecy
to advertise products, services or events
to publish job applications or job offers
to set or distribute links to othermedia that contain illegal information.

What happens if rules of conduct are violated?

Please report to us immediately at info@tekom.de if the above rules of conduct have been violated by others. This is the only way we can take action. Please tell us:

When did the incident occur?
Where (e.g. in the chat during a meeting)?
Name / description of the people involved?
What exactly happened?
Is the violation ongoing right now?
Any other helpful information if needed.

You may also report incidents to us where you are not sure if the rules of conduct have been violated. We will keep your name confidential in any case.

Possible measures in case of violation of the rules of conduct

Personal admonishment to refrain from the behavior in the future.
Public request to refrain from the behavior (e.g. in the chat)
Request to apologize
Request to refrain from contact with a person who feels harassed
Removal of illegal, abusive, or otherwise hurtful content
Exclusion from the Meetup Groups

Place of performance and jurisdiction is Stuttgart.
